Re: turn off temporary recording

I found that reducing the camera framerate was very effective in reducing CPU load. Sighthound only requires 10FPS, so start stepping some cameras down near that and see if it helps.

Re: CPU usage

jbrannen, I wasn't familiar with the DIGIOP ELEMENTS software that runs on the NVR you linked to, but motion detection isn't even a bullet on the feature list here: http://www.infinias.com/video/digiop-elements-software . "Intelligent" motion detection is the key selling point of Sighthoun...

Once you start actually viewing a clip, you are allowed to rotate to landscape (which is nice). You can back out of the clip all the way back to Camer...

Working: Lorex LNB2153 1080p POE Camera

Devin had me try this and both worked:

Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /ch0_0.h264

Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /video.mp4

The camera serves its own webpage using a browser at its IP address (admin/000000 is the default for login).
