Clips in IOS only displays 1/2 clip time video

So each clip that I view on the IOS iPhone App only has half the video. So if the clip is 60 seconds long, then I have video for 30 seconds and then the screen blanks, I can hear audio but no Video. It’s bizarre!! If I check the clip in Sighthound, then it’s normal ie. I can view all the video. I ha...

Re: Home Mode

It was under "feature request". I know you don't have it at the moment. Perhaps you could look at incorporating it in your next release. Software like "Security Spy", "Synology Security Station", "Blue Iris" all support geo fencing.

Re: Motion Detection on Stream 2 input

This system requirement is a bit outdated. People are using 4MP or better cameras now, so if you're not using Intel Quick Sync then you are heavily loading the CPU with unnecessary decoding. That's why using a second stream would be "good enough" for motion detection, but actually record f...

Re: Motion Detection on Stream 2 input

It would be nice to get a reply on this. Both Blue Iris and Security Spy use Intel Quicksync. I'm trying to spec a machine up to replace my old Mac Mini which I've had to run Windows on so that I can support any other codec outside of AAC.

Motion Detection on Stream 2 input

I'm looking at building a faster machine to support up to 10 cameras. I've seen other CCTV software use the Intel Quick Sync which allows very fast decoding on it's 6th Gen and above chips. I believe that Sighthound cannot use this due to it's software but I had another thought. Why decode a 4MP cam...

Home Mode

I've recently switched over from Synology Surveillance Station as their detection algorithm is average at best and trying to find where something has changed in the footage (i.e. box stolen from porch) is terrible (you can only search in real-time). However, they've introduced a feature called Home ...

Re: iOS App Features Request

+1 for Landscape View
+1 Saving of Images and Video
+1 Pinch to zoom - take a look at the ring app. Its fantastic at being able to zoom into the action and the video still play.

Re: Expanded Audio Codec Support

+100. I have mainly Hikvision cameras and it can't capture the audio from these. I've had to resort to the Windoze software rather than use Mac OSX which in my opinion is a far more resilient platform to be running a mission critical application.

Re: Temporarily disable notifications

+1 great idea. I have a cleaner come on random days and when he arrives - he's in/out for about 10 minutes and then the same when he leaves in/out for another 10 minutes. It would be great to mute the notifications over that period. Solutions where you have to manually turn off cameras or notificati...
