Re: Is there a way to stream my mac’s built in iSight camera

I actually found an app that will do this called "RemoteSight" https://www.bensoftware.com/remotesight/ . However, it's a paid app. I got the demo running on my laptop using its built-in camera and was able to add that camera to SightHound on another computer. Are there any other apps that...

Is there a way to stream my mac’s built in iSight camera as

I have a couple old computers and one new one with a paid version of sighthound that currently has a few cameras configured on it. I was wondering if there’s a way to add the building camera from the old computers to sighthound on the new computer... I mean, I *could* set up a free version of sighth...

I have tried the suggestion for enabling/disabling rules, but the response I get is 301 moved permanently. I don't think I have the latest sighthound. Is the address for curl different for different versions? I have 3.0.2. I was playing around with this suggestion, and with a TCPDump found that the ...

Re: IFTTT - Leave Location Arm Sight hound

One note, if you decide to try out my tip - the automator action won't know the state of the checkbox - just that it is to click on it, so it's more of a toggle than a "start" function. If you want to get really fancy, there are applescripting techniques you can try to see if you can deter...

Rare bug - a report

Hi, I found a bug. Turns out, if you install Sighthound Video on multiple computers, rules that are turned off on one interfere with rules that are turned on on anther. Here's my use-case: I'd wanted to transfer control of the camera to a different computer when I was leaving for a trip and planned ...

Re: IFTTT - Leave Location Arm Sight hound

You might be able to do this using other means. I have used similar methods to do other things. I can only give you tips from the Mac OS X perspective, but I assume that PCs can do similar stuff as well: 1. Create an Automator action to activate a rule using Automator's record feature - call it &quo...
