Same issue here. I have 8 Hikvision cameras and can report the same behavior.
Sometimes, for no reason, one or two cameras will cut out and later come back. No problems whatsoever with Synology Surveillance Station. They just get that hiccup with SH!

Absolutely agree here. Expensive software like Sighthound should definitely support H.265. Synology Surveillance Station has been supporting it (and H.264, H264+, H.265+) for a while now and their iOS app even shows all cameras with audio ! So +1 for H.265 and another +1 for audio in live and playba...

I did a similar project, minus all the cloud stuff. I use Homeseer for the home automation and in Sighthound I run a script that calls a JSON API on the Homeseer server and thereby triggers the event. Major advantage: No cloud, doesn't require an active internet connection or external cloud services...
