Re: Delayed Intervals for Notifications

Thank you so much for implementing this crucial feature! Sighthound works much better for me now. I've been playing with it and tweaking it over the last few days, and have dramatically reduced the # of email alerts I receive while still getting alerted when someone shows up in the driveway or front...

Re: Front door rules

IIRC I use "on top of" a region. I use a time limit (like, 2 seconds or something like that) and a pixel size minimum, that cuts down on things like bushes/shadows triggering falses. You have to play with it a little bit but you are on the right track.

Re: My wish list

ryan wrote:@tkollmann1000 - there isn't at the moment but there will be in the upcoming release.

Great news!

This is my single biggest complaint about Sighthound. Lawn guys show up and trigger hundreds of emails per hour.

Any color as far as when the next update will be coming?

Re: Does Your Camera Work Great with SH? Get in Here!

I use Wirepath cameras, and they seem to work fairly well.

Re: full screen playback

from that link, seems like the pace of updates has slowed dramatically in 2014 vs. 2013.

Re: Delayed Intervals for Notifications

Why don't you just use the native iOS or Android app instead of e-mails? Then you can turn off push notifications at your phone when the yard guys come and turn them back on when they leave. Presumably you still need the clips to be generated in case something happens during the yard guys visit, li...

Re: Delayed Intervals for Notifications

Ugh, very disappointed to see this isn't included in the recent update. Hopefully will be on the next one. Severely limits the functionality of this software for people that have anything going on at their house (lawn service, pool service etc.) while they are away.

Re: iMac: i5 vs. i7 for Sighthount

Thanks. I'd love to get a Mac Mini, if only my old iMac had a thunderbolt input so I could use it as the display, and use the mini as the dedicated security cams computer.

iMac: i5 vs. i7 for Sighthount

I am getting ready to replace my 5+ year old iMac that runs a little slow when running sighthound and wanted some input. I read some of the existing CPU threads, and read the examples in the support area but still have some questions. I am running 9 cameras. Would ideally like to match source at 192...
