Re: Question on licensing

Hi, I'd like to move Vitamin D from the current PC to a dedicated one. So just want to check I do it right. If I uninstall from the current PC then install on new one and follow the activation instructions and use the same code is that OK? I don't want to be flagged as trying to pirate it or anythin...

Re: Feature Feedback

Ahh, WebCamXP was one of the programs I tried before VitD and it didn't do the saving streams thing very well. Maybe if I way just using it as a Webcam to IP cam I should give it another look.

My MS Lifecam gets a bit ansty sharing its stream between two applications, but I'll have another look.

Re: Feature Feedback

Hi, Actually, that's not a bad idea. I was contemplating setting up a dedicated PC in a cupboard somewhere and leaving that permanently switched on for video recording purposes (and media server purposes) and I'd have to access that via remote desktop. I made the suggestion as I've been using an And...

Re: Rule Confusion?

Ahhh, yes, it's exactly as you described. When I change the drop down to "People", the clip that had been flagged under "All Objects" as 'not saved' becomes a saved clip. Sorry about that, seems the confusion was me not VitD and I should have thought to change the drop down befor...

Re: What USB cam DOES work?

I'm using the MS HD Cinema cam on a Win7 PC and it's fine. I realise this doen't help answer the mac question sorry. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/digitalcommunication/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=008 One thing though, which might serve as a tip to other MS cam users, to disable AutoFocus you need to...

Re: Feature Feedback

Hi, Thanks for your response, great to know you're looking at some of this stuff already. I thought of another other feature suggestion, I suspect it might be out of the scope of the software but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Would it be feasible to build into the program the ability to turn a US...

Rule Confusion?

Hi, I've changed a rule from "All Objects" to "People" as I've found that the software is very good at picking up humans so I don't need to have all objects saved. However I've noticed that when a rule is tagged as "People, Unknown" the viewer often says "tempoary ...

Feature Feedback

Hi, As there doesn't seem to be an open thread I guess I'll just make a new one? Been using vitamin d for about a week now, upgraded to Basic after the first day. Tried a lot of similar programs and this is way above and beyond the rest. Anyway, as for feature feedback could I suggest the following:...
