Re: Frame Rate in recorded clips

Thanks for that info. So I just want to confirm one last time. Are you saying then that there is NO difference whatsoever in detection and recorded clip quality in BOTH smoothness and clarity if I set my cameras at anything higher than 10fps? If that is the case, then yes, I will want to set them to...

Re: Frame Rate in recorded clips

Thanks for the response. I will find a clip and email it to you shortly.

Another question I have is this... if it only records at 10fps, should I even set my cameras to stream any higher rate than that?? Does it make a difference if I send higher frame rate feeds than 10 fps?

Frame Rate in recorded clips

Hi,

Does Sighthound record clips at the sending framerate of the IP camera? I am using an IP camera set at 1080p at 30 frames per second, but when I watch recorded clips say of a car driving by, it seems like it is not even close to being 30fps. Any ideas on how fps works in Sighthound recordings?

Re: Remote Access rights

Is there any way you can just point me to the html code the server generates for the remote access page so that I can customize it to not include the slider switch to turn off cameras?

Re: Remote Access rights

Thanks for the confirmation. But such a "view-only" user option doesn't exist today correct? Any idea when this can/will be added?

Re: Remote Access rights

That is mostly true except that it appears that anyone logging in can TURN OFF my cameras. Is that true?

Remote Access rights

Hi, Are there different permission levels for remote access? I would like to be able to have remote access to view only and not be able to shut off cameras. Is this possible? Or is there any workaround that I can do to make this possible? It would also be nice to be able to restrict access so that c...

Re: Lost access to non-rules video

Devin,

Thank you very much. You were exactly right! I guess at some point I switched it to all cameras in Search view and didn't realize it! You're a genius! Thanks again!

Lost access to non-rules video

Recently, for some reason my Sighthound stopped giving me access to video that is recorded in-between rule hits. In the search screen, all the rule hit events still show up and are marked on the timeline below as well, but normally, there is a Green bar representing the continuous recording of video...
