Are there any plans to support the H.264 stream in VDV?

I would like to know this as well - I am adding a 3rd camera to my setup (FI9821W) and as I will have to pay $150 for an upgraded pro licence if there is no support I might look elsewhere.

If someone would like to set up remote access to their camera and let me have access to an account I can take a look and see if some items I'm working on at the moment solve the problem with this camera or not.

I would also like to use cameras like the foscam h.264 models... anyone get them working?

I'm a newbie to IP Cams and VDV I bought a 3ea FI8921w V2 cams and I would like to tryout the VDV software so I downloaded the Free version for one cam and input info. and could not get a video feed. I also tried to chk my video stream thru VLC with no luck. I've been using URL: cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi?cmd=GetMJStream&usr=YOURUSERNAME&pwd=YOURPASSWORD... with luck and really would appreciate any assistance in this matter. I have read several forums but really did not see anything ref. the new 8921w V2 cams and URL feed for VDV. I have updated my firmware to 1.11.1.16 the latest and still can not get the cams to to feed in VDV or VLC. Hope I can find a quick solution.....Jes

Hi Jesse,

Since you're having trouble connecting to the camera in general, and not just from VDV you might want to post over at the official foscam forums - http://foscam.us/forum/technical-support-f3.html - I'm afraid I don't have all of their cameras/firmware versions or their expertise with their devices, and they should be able to get you up and running much quicker. Once we have the right video stream I'm more than happy to help you get setup with VDV.
