I'm not sure if this is even needed since I have not had any issues with running VDV 24/7 myself but for instances where one sets up a dedicated security machine for someone to run VDV 24/7 and nothing else, and the person they set it up for are forgetful and not computer savvy enough to maintain it, and really only check on it when there is an incident, it would be cool to have VDV restart itself weekly or monthly in case a memory leak came through or some other factor. Just some house keeping, but maybe it already maintains itself while it is running and this would not provide any benefits?
If the machine was a dedicated security machine, I suppose I could just setup a task to force reboot every 1st sunday of the month and then have VDV in the startup folder for when the machine finishes rebooting as long as I didn't have a login password on the machine, otherwise I'm sure there are workarounds for that too.
