I have a Vivint alarm system that is independent from my VDV/HomeSeer Pro surveillance/automation system. The Vivint system has two ADC-V510 ipcams that are accessed through an Alarm.com account.
I would like to add these cams to my VDV installation in order to take advantage of the advanced human recognition algorithms, but am having difficulty finding any specs for the cams. It seems that Alarm.com would like to preserve their walled garden.
The price of these cameras ($149 for a basic VGA camera without even IR) certainly doesn’t warrant being locked into an Alarm.com account, but the choice seems to either keep paying or abandon the cams.
Has anyone had any success with adding these cams to VDV?
