Anyone know if you can use a dropcam (http://www.dropcam.com) without "the cloud"? and thus keep the stream within the LAN, I'd then like to record it with VDV obviously.
I suppose the reason dropcam is sold so cheap might be because there planning to recoup that cost in getting people to pay for the cloud service that goes with it - but I for one still appreciate software installed locally and not relying on my Internet connection or cloud "services"
