D-Link DCS-5222L not supported

by JES » Mon Jan 07, 2013 12:56 pm

Believe I have tried all suggestions in help software and videos, but cannot connect to this camera (DCS-5222L) with Vitamin D.
I had no trouble connecting to this camera with another monitoring software product. From that products screens it looks like the video stream is /video/acvs-h264.cgi and with a parameter of profileid=1.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble finding information on your specific model. Are you using rtsp or http? Most d-link cameras use rtsp. Please make sure you're using a username and password as well, sometimes this can be an issue even if the camera is set up to allow default access. You might also try adding "?tcp" to the end of the stream path, (or "&tcp" if you already have a parameter list). A general d-link stream path for many models is "play1.sdp" over rtsp, though this may not apply to yours. Also note that many models allow you to change the name of the stream path from the default. Hope that helps.
