Small screen

by vanyel » Fri Dec 21, 2012 5:27 pm

I'm trying to use VDV on a netbook, but the screen is too small to show the entire program. It cuts off just below the video display and won't show any of the settings menus. Is there any way to get the program to scroll down? I've tried hitting page-down, scrolling the mouse wheel, and even clicking and dragging but none of it worked. Attached is a screen-shot of the problem. Vitamin D Video seems like a great program and would be perfect for what I want to do, but if I can't get to any of the setting I'm going to have to find something else.

Hi vanyel,

VDV requires a minimum screen size of 1024x768 to operate properly.

There once was a software called sDesk that allows the screen resolution to be set a little larger than the hardware actually supports.

IMHO this is a real hack, but if you're out of options have a go, this is the best reference I could find: http://stackoverflow.com/a/2009431

There is also this way: http://liliputing.com/2010/03/hack-to-i ... books.html
