Load program in background at windows bootup

I'm sure there's a workaround to do this, but how about an option to load the program every time windows boots?

It could be that just placing a shortcut it in the startup folder would work in relation to a windows login or windows startup.

But what I'm after is having the agent start at system boot. So in the situation where the system reboots for whatever reason, there is no human around to touch a keyboard and you have the user accounts password-ed. In that situation I would like something to start, connect to the camera, and start recording, as if there were an interface there and a user was pushing buttons BUT there is no interface, there are no buttons to push. It just starts and takes off on it's own before anyone logs into windows (i.e. the window manager)

So it would work probably most other security systems. In the event, the system is powered cycled or rebooted for various reasons, monitoring would begin again unattended by a human.

My solution to this has been...

1) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysi ... s/bb963905

2) put a shortcut to Vitamin D in the startup folder
or use a Windows Scheduled Task to run Vitamin D a few minutes after login (this allow slower windows machines time to finish booting/loading user profile, before starting Vitamin D)
