BABY CAMS

by cerberus22 » Thu Nov 29, 2012 1:16 pm

hi all.

i was using Vitamin D at my old place as a temporary measure with my built in Mac Pro iSight.

my kid sister has tasked me with researching (and setting up baby cams) when i visit in a couple of weeks. she sent me links to this edgadget report on Y Cam and Baby Monitor Software that i am reading through. http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/24/wifi ... g-and-lov/ and she also has sent me info on Withings Smart Baby Monitor, Foscam wireless tilt whateve and Wifi Baby CAMERAS and as i read through this i am wondering if anyone on the list has had experience with this?!

i love the email motion alerts that i get from Vitamin D (though i do wish there was a way to set an ALARM on my iphone for when these come in...) and i loved the ease of setup. Obviously i did not buy a camera which they have to do and they also need infrared from what i can tell. i would imagine the ability to get to a view quickly on an IPHONE or a COMPUTER or even maybe they should purchase an iPAD that they can keep on all the time?

anyway, i would dearly love some advice on this so i can get here into a purchase and get it set up for her.

TIA for any help or urls or advice etc.

You can't beat Withings Smart Baby Monitor with VitaminD. There is no comparison. Withings Smart Baby Monitor is outstanding and incl. ir! It's reliable and "idiot" proof in terms of setup and use. Perfect interface on iPhone, iPad anywhere as long as you have data network connectivity.
