FTP a still

I want to have the ability to FTP a still image every 30 seconds to my web host. So that I can see what is happening on my webcam via my website. I was under the impression this was on the todo list but I cant see the option on 1.4.2 which I have just downloaded. Can we have such a feature please.

Edit: Forget the time thing if it takes a lot of work, just uploading a still with a fixed name when a motion event occurs would be good.
