Vitamin d freeze - running PC tools internet security

vitamin d keeps freezing. I looked at the trend of freezes and it seems to be related to my PC tools internet security software when a scan occurs.
vitamin d video software is authorized in my firewall. I'm running Windows 7.
Any suggestion to get rid of this problem?

I'd recommend excluding the Vitamin D processes and directories from all scanning functionality in your security software, not just the firewall component.
