Firstly I would like to say how great Vitamin D video is, how could you make it better?
1 iphone app for live video (without the need for port forwarding ect)
2 snapshot, take a photo at anytime and have it emailed to my phone
3 have a snapshot taken at set times and emailed
4 Applescript
5 Keep up the great work

In suggestion 2 are you asking for snapshot functionality as part of the mobile client? If not, how would you like to trigger the snapshots?
With regard to applescript, we do support it for custom responses in the basic and pro editions. Please see "Run the command" near the bottom of http://www.vitamindinc.com/support/ref_guide_rules.html. If there is something else you'd like to use applescript for with Vitamin D Video feel free to elaborate on your scenario.

Snapshots from a mobile client (iphone app) would be great or failing that triggered from an applescript, at the moment I can arm/disarm the cameras remotely from within another program by using the automator but I would also like to be able to trigger an emailed photo as well although it would be much better from it's own dedicated app.
If none of this is possible, then scheduling snapshots to be emailed out at certain times (ie every 2,4,8,12 hours) would be good. the purpose of this is so that when I am away, I can see that everything is fine via the emailed photo's.
