false alerts due to rain,fog,snow,flying bugs,small animals

I know if you put a duration rule on the alert it will over look these false alerts. Because it is likely people and vehicles don't move fast enough to get canceled. But can you add it to the cross the boundary rule. That would mean a two rule alert or even 3 rules.

rule 1 crossing boundary, rule 2 duration of 3 sec, rule 3 larger than 30 pix. in other words its all or no alert.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to add a time delay to alerts when using the cross the boundary rule since at alert is meant to be triggered as soon as someone crosses a boundary. The workaround here is to use the "Inside - my region" which can almost act as a boundary but the delay can be added there. So if the object is inside of that area for x amount of seconds, then it will alert.

Would something like that work for you?
