This is being posted for anyone else experiencing issues with TrenNet camera connections. I was getting issues where SightHound could not connect with the password I knew to be correct. It turns out that when I shortened the password to under 16 characters (note that it must be 8 or more characters) I was able to connect.
Hope this helps someone save the time that I lost in figuring it out.
