Problem to send email notifications

I have a problem: since a few weeks, sighthound doesn't send me email notification. The error is:

Problem finding your SMTP server.
SMTP server not found: smtp.gmail.com

I've tried also icloud smtp or Office365 smtp, but none of this servers seems working.

Can someone help me?

First check that you do not have a DNS problem. Open a command prompt and type:
nslookup smtp.gmail.com

You should get back some info with the IP address if above is ok.

Check your Email Global Settings and make sure you are using the correct parameter for Gmail:

- Send email from: put the gmail address you are using to send
- Outgoing SMTP: smtp.gmail.com
- Login user ID: put the gmail address you are using to send
- SMTP port: 587
- Security: TLS

Please report back once above is done. Hope this helps.
