Maximus Floodlight Cam / Ring Floodlight Cam

by JLondon » Mon May 28, 2018 4:19 pm

Has anyone tried using the Maximus Floodlight Cam by Kuna? https://getkuna.com/pages/camera-floodlight

Or...the Ring Floodlight Cam?

Neither one seem to make reference to IP address/port. Not that I can't do an IP scan and identify what IP is being used, but, that doesn't mean it'll still be viewable/managed with Sighthound.

Did you ever receive a response? I am looking at the coach light product form Maximus (Costco) and suspect the settings are similar. Thank you.

I researched this for my home. It’s a limitation of the manufacturer, Kuna. They only allow you to subscribe to their service and you cannot access their devices from any 3rd Party software or NVR.

Hello,

Manufacturers like Kuna, Nest, and Ring do not support third-party applications to access their camera streams. These companies prefer to keep everything proprietary.
