I'm trying to get it to execute a cmd file upon events.
I added the following to the event settings:
cmd.exe /c start d:\test\event_test.cmd
However upon testing I noticed the command window stayed open.
I had two events trigger and noticed the command had only executed once. Looking in task manager I notice the command from the first event still running. I see the actual command executed is: cmd.exe /k d:\test\event_test.cmd
Since it's using the /k argument it's not terminating and I imagine that's preventing it from executing the command again for any other events.
How can I fix this?
