Migrating to a new computer.

Hello;
I am currently using the free trial Pro version on my personal iMAC and have decided to purchase. I have ordered a new dedicated iMac to run the system on, is there a way to migrate Sighthound, or all of the preferences to the new computer without having to go thru the entire setup and config again. I have 10 IP cameras and have them all set up and running fine with rules. I have not seen a 'Save Config' option in the menu tree. As this installation is not 'activated' yet I won't need to switch the license.

Hello,

So when migrating to an entirely new machine, you will need to set everything up again unless you bring over a couple of folders from your old machine. If you go to the following folder /Library/Application Support/Sighthound Video/ you should bring the following:

camdb
rules/

That will bring all of the cameras that you have setup along with the rules that you have with them.
