Audio support with Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IS DS-2CD2432F-IW

Hi,

Does any existing Sighthound user have any experience with using Sighthound video with the Hikvision DS-2CD2532F-IS (mini dome) or DS-2CD2432F-IW (cube) cameras?
Do you know if Sighthound video can tap into these camera's audio stream?

These cameras support the following audio encoding: G.722.1, G.711ulaw, G.711alaw, MP2L2, or G726

I have two cube cameras you mentioned (4mp however, not 3mp), SH records both sound and video perfectly.

what codex are you using for audio?

I have several Hikvision DS-2CD2542FWD-IS camera's. I can hear the audio from the Hikvision app and when logging on through a browser, but nothing through SH. On the camera's config under audio, there is only G.726, G.722.1, G.711ulaw & alaw, and MP2L2. Nothing referring to AAC. I also have H264 turned off, if that matters.

Sighthound Video only supports AAC and G711 alaw/ulaw on Windows and AAC on Mac. There is no audio in the main application however you'll be able to hear the audio when watching clips and while in the web interface view of remote access. The following link demonstrates how to enable audio in SV.
