It appears that unlike emails alarms which can be restricted to max email every so many seconds, there is no way to limit push notifications.
As a result for motion event I get one email and a barrage of push notifications.
Is there a way to restrict number of push notification, just like emails?

There isn't such a setting for push notifications, though this is something we're considering for the future. If you find your rule is being triggered more frequently than you'd like, please take a look at this support article - https://www.sighthound.com/support/its- ... many-clips

Looks like the root cause is that single rule triggers multiple notifications. These multiple notifications are filtered out by email rule to send most one email every 180 seconds.
The reason rule triggers multiple notification is by intend. Rule is designed to notify me when people are entering/leaving certain area. It just happen to be that it this time people were meandering exactly on the edge of this area (getting in/out of the car).
I have correctly got single email (since it took less then 180 seconds for people to get/in of the car), but got tons of the push notification (every time person was entering/leaving detection area).
The bottom line is that simplest UI (and a fix) would be to apply the same "send most emails" setting across all types of the alarm notification: emails and push.
