Changing my camera's Frames per Second ( fps ).

If I wanted to change my cameras to 8fps can I do that? I can manually do that with my camera software but does it automatically update sighthound and start recording 8fps? If I set my cameras to 30fps will it update sighthound to 30fps?

That is correct, Sighthound Video will read whatever the camera is sending. It does not request any specific competing configuration.
