Videos are appearing outside my time limitations

So the Sighthound rules allow you to set time limitations that determine when the rule should run. Great. I have a rule that is designed to run only from midnight to 6 am in my driveway, to look for break ins of my vehicle. So I wake up at 8AM, and my phone tells me that at 4AM there was an event. I open the iPhone app, click on the rule called Truck Break In, and here's the problem: I have to scroll through a million clips *outside* the midnight-to-6AM timeframe to find what I'm looking for. It appears the app saves any hit for my parameters, even ones that are supposed to be filtered out by time.

When you schedule a rule to run at specific times Sighthound will ensure the camera is running and run the responses (notifications, play a sound, etc..) during that time frame. When you go to the Search View to view clips Sighthound will look for all clips for that day which meet the rules criteria (person entering door, crossing a boundary, etc...)

It sounds like you may need to further configure the rule, or adjust the scene conditions to prevent these unwanted events. If you could send a few examples of the events which trigger the rule I'd be happy to offer some suggestions on how to reduce these unwanted detections. You can email them to [email protected]. If this notification rule is the only rule you use for this camera I'd recommend deleting all other rules that are active on this camera so that Sighthound will only record from this camera during the scheduled time.
