Starter Updates

I'm running Starter Edition 4.0.1 and when I try to update to 4.0.4 it downloads but does not install. Is there a different procedure for updating the Starter Edition?

Assuming that you're running macOS 10.12 Sierra there was a 10.12.X specific upgrade bug fixed in 4.0.2. From 4.0.1 you'll need to manually install 4.0.4 but all future updates should work as expected.

You can download 4.0.4 here. Before installing turn off all cameras and exit the app.

Thanks for the info. I tried that but the download form errors out because it says my email address is already in use.

You're likely entering your information into the account signup area. Make sure you're entering your email and password under "Already have a Sighthound Account? Log in here."
