will sighthound ever develop lpr/anpr software? it would be great to see.

We have developed this functionality and you can currently view a demo by clicking on the Vehicle Recognition tab at https://www.sighthound.com/products/cloud
We do not have any downloadable software that includes this feature but the API is open and accessible for any developer to build with.
If your question was specific to including such functionality in Sighthound Video itself, we'd certainly love to bring our advanced capabilities to that software over time as computing power and business circumstances allow us to.
