I'm using one of the Lorex 4K's in my SH system without issue:

Mac Mini server, 7 x 1080P Lorex, 1 x 4K Lorex (LNB8111). Most cameras are not running at full resolution, and the Mac Mini struggles especially with noisy scenes at night. Seriously hoping Apple updates the Mac Mini this year.

Hello,

You can try to manually connect to this camera using the following settings:

Camera Type: Other IP Camera
Protocole: HTTP
Port: Leave blank
Stream Path: axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi

Can you please give that a try? If that fails, please click Help > Report a Problem from Sighthound Video. Be sure to include the make and model of the camera.

I need to find the IP address of this lorex camera. Do these camera's usually have a default IP address? I've connected the camera to my POE switch, and it appears to power up, but can't detect the IP..
Camera model LNB8111bw.

Your router will assign your camera its IP. You can read the document below which should help you find that IP:

Thanks KBond! I've got the IP address..
I was able to use your instructions and get the camera to connect using the wizard. In the "Test your camera connection" screen, it successfully displays the camera image, but after I click "finish", it will not display the image in the normal views. Keeps saying "Could not connect" and then "Connecting...". Should i try a different stream? Strange it would connect and display just fine during the test, but not otherwise.

Sorry to hear that your camera isn't fully connecting. Can you please click Help > Report a Problem from Sighthound Video? This will send us over your logs which will help us investigate this issue. It would be good to send the make/model of the camera as well as its associated name within Sighthound Video. I have alerted Support to be aware of this incoming request. We can continue this conversation within the ticket that gets created when sending this request.
