Time on Clips

by biztactix » Sat Apr 22, 2017 8:00 pm

This is Day 2 of my install, I've had 2 cameras running for about 24 hours at this point,
But the times on Camera 2 have gone awry...
My IP cameras are synced to NTP servers and Embed in the video,

I came back this morning and the person alarms went off as I walked through the door as expected...
But when I checked the clips, Camera1 sees me and lists the time correctly, Camera2 has the clip nearly an hour beforehand...
So when searching the videos I only see Camera1 for the last hour... then Camera2 starts, Which makes locating complimentary footage very difficult.

Attached is a screenshot indicating the difference, One from Cam1, One from Cam2

If you've confirmed that the time displayed on the video is correct when viewing the cameras live this certainly should not be happening. Is the time offset always fixed or does it vary?

Please submit a bug report from "Help->Report a Problem..." and we'll take a look at what might be going on. If possible in the bug report please note how far off the camera seems to be at the time of submission.

I'm seeing this issue as well...

I have eight cameras. Seven of them show the correct time in the clip list. One of them is an hour later then the other seven. A side effect of this appears to be that the clips for this camera do not show up in the list until an hour passes after the rule was triggered, so that real time catches up to the camera time.
