Software install errors

Version 4.0.2 was working fine. Attempted to upgrade from 4.0.2 to 4.0.3. Now with either version I get three install errors, first "The procedure entry point _snwprintf_s could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll". Then error "Sighthound Video could not be shut down (-1073741511)". Then the first error again, then "The Sighthound Video service could not be installed (-1073741511). Please restart your computer first". Neither restarting the computer nor running sfc /scannow changed the install behavior and associated errors. Running on WinXP_Pro_SP3. All other apps on the PC working fine.

I'm afraid that as Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported by Microsoft we don't officially support these platforms for Sighthound Video either. If 4.0.2 was still able to function under XP it is likely the last release that will be able to do so.

If you newly purchased Sighthound Video 4.0 or purchased an upgrade with the sole intent of running on XP and find yourself unable to do so please contact [email protected].

Rolled back to version 4.0.1 and now it installs.
