Camera Use When Laptop is Asleep

Hi there,

Just wondering if it is possible to be recording or taking photos while my laptop is seemingly asleep? It seems as if this would be an option for surveillance purposes. But I am having trouble finding a way to do this.

There isn't a way to do this for Sighthound Video or any other application. If the computer is asleep the CPU is turned off and software cannot run so it isn't able to monitor cameras.

Is there a way to imitate sleep while leaving the computer up and running? Just a way to make it look asleep.
