Vehicle Detection

Hi all,

I've been using the evaluation software to see if SH will be adequate for my needs and it is doing extremely well in people recognition and motion detection in general however, I was wondering if there is an option to select vehicles specifically from the "Look for" options? It would be perfect if I can differentiate between other motion and a vehicle entering and leaving the detection zone so I can get the home automatino system to take the appropriate actions.

Hello cel_912,

I'm glad to hear Sighthound is meeting your expectations for people and motion detection. We do not have any options in regards to vehicle detection in Sighthound Video. As far as detections, Sighthound currently only differentiates between person and non person.
