Windows Server. Can I use Linux miniPC for displaying?

by Gigaboom » Fri Dec 30, 2016 12:23 pm

I am pretty much on board buying my own copy of Sighthound the interface, ease and power offered is hard to compete with. I'm currently setting up my camera system and I am thinking of ways to have 1-2 monitors constantly displaying from the server.

If I went the wireless route, and put monitors on opposite sides of my home. Could I use a linux based mini PC like raspberry pi 3 to gain access to the server and stream it to the monitor?

My server is Windows, But I am asking if my linux devices can access the server and stream it to a monitor?

Thanks for the help

Anything with a web browser can stream from SV, so yes.
