Slow stream on a 1Gbps connection and false alerts

by demaier » Wed Dec 28, 2016 11:52 am

Hello,

I have a 1Gpbs download/upload Internet connection at home and when I remotely connect to the cameras either to view the live stream or recorded clips it takes forever to load. I have changed the maximum live/clip stream bit rate to .5 Mbps but that didn't help much. The quality of the stream is also not the same as the one I see on the Sighthound Video app on my computer. The stream on the computer is also not as natural, it lags a little.

In regards of the notification/alerts on my iPhone I get a ton of false alarms. You claim your software detect people but for that rule "people", I'm getting false alarms, for pets, trees that are moving with the wind, shadows, etc.

I was considering upgrading to the $250 unlimited but I can't justify paying that if the software is not working as advertised on a Mac/iPhone.

Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong or if this is it.

Thank you.
