Android - intermittent failure with playing clips

I'm experiencing failures streaming clips through the Android app (running Android 7 on a Nexus 5x), however, whenever I access Sighthound's remote access server via Chrome on my Android device, everything is working fine. Thus, I believe the problem is definitely with the Android app.

If I restart the remote access server, and restart the Sighthound app on Android, I'm successful in viewing clips. It's only after some time that the failures occur.

Anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

ALL THE TIME.

Brought this up with sighthound 2 years ago. Still hasn't been fixed.

Sighthound is now my backup system since i've gone back to SecuritySpy for primary. It lacks the computer vision smarts of sighthound, but it's reliable and fast.
