Do you want the application “Sighthound Video.app” to accept

by bobkeenan97214 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 8:02 pm

I just started to get these messages "Do you want the application “Sighthound Video.app” to accept incoming network connections?" It might have started when I upgraded to Mac OS Sierra?

I have allowed all connection on my firewall. I also use snitch and have allowed connections there.

Any idea of what to do to stop getting these alerts?

Hello bobkeenan97214,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Have you tried adding Sighthound Video to the Firewall list? The "Automatically allow downloaded signed software to receive incoming connections" options should be enough, as our application is signed by Apple, but this could be a bug specific to Sierra. We have heard of inconsistent behavior in the OSX Firewall for some users.

Regards,

-Devin
