I am running a Ring Pro now, and was running a regular Ring before that. I recommend it. Works well overall, though there is a lag before notification and the motion detection can be overly sensitive sometimes. I like having an independent remote video connection to my house outside of Sighthound.

We were burglarized 3 years ago, and he repeatedly rang the doorbell to check for an empty house. Having a Ring back then so I could have responded would have prevented the burglary, I am sure of it.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Was wondering if the Ring Pro was an ip camera and if there was a stream path people were using to view/record in Sighthound in addition to the supplied Ring software.

I don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure. When I've scanned my network previously I don't ever recall seeing it report an IP address, but I wasn't specifically looking for it either.

Anyone figure out the stream path on this?
