Hi I have been struggling with the ports. I have managed to open up 8848 to get remote access to work even if I have double NAT. Initially it only worked remote on the host computer only. Problem Windows 10 firewall!
BUG?: To begin with I failed because the Windows 10 firewall didn't open properly. I changed the firewall rule to open 8848 for ALL apps which solved the problem. The services were obviously still blocked after the automatic firewall modification at install (today).
In the rule actions I have enabled playing a sound and sending a mobile app notification.
The remaining problem is that even if the computer identifies the event and record a clip and plays the sound I get no alert nor anything in the alert list in the phone. The clip shows up allrigth in the Phone.
Is there another port I need to open or is it something else.
I'm on the trial version here and are testing to decide which software to purchase and I am looking for 3 cams ie PRO licence.

I'm glad to hear you were able to get remote access working. We have heard of a few cases where mobile notifications were not being received. These users were able to fix this problem by following these steps:
* Open the Sighthound mobile app
* Go to Settings (in the app) and disable mobile notifications
* Press the home button and go to Setting > Notifications
* Disable notifications for Sighthound Video, then re-enable them
* Return to the Sighthound mobile app
* Go to Settings (in the mobile app) and enable mobile notifications
If you do not start receiving notifications after making these changes please send a bug report in Sighthound video by going to Help > Report a Problem so we can take a look at your logs. Include a link to this forum post in the report so we can link it to this post.

It works after removing special characters in camera locations and following instructions above!
