Cameras in Different Cities

by dwRCjCCil » Wed Jul 13, 2016 10:39 pm

I posted this question in a different section of the forums, where it did not receive a reply, so am posting it here.

I plan to have two cameras, each in a separate city (obviously different wifi networks). Will the Pro license allow me to monitor both cameras assuming I was running the software on a computer in each city?

I have the same question as I have home and a cottage, what are the options?

Hello Behman,

In Sighthound Video you can connect to cameras that are in any location so long as the cameras are set up for external access. This support article describes how to accomplish this: https://www.sighthound.com/support/sett ... econd-home. You can connect to remote cameras with any of our license types - the only restriction between the Basic and Pro is the amount of cameras you can run (2 on basic, unlimited on pro).

If you need any additional help setting up your cameras for remote viewing please email [email protected] with the manufacturer and model numbers of both the cameras and the routers on the network.

Regards,

-Devin
