ActionNotSupported

I downloaded the trial version to test out Sighthound as I heard really good things about the motion detection. When I ran setup, I see all three of my cameras in the setup screen.

I have two Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-I and one Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I camera and when I try to connect to any of them with the camera's built-in admin account I get an error ActionNotSupported.

I searched and couldn't find anything specific to this error. I also tried to manually setup using RTSP and that didn't work either.

Is there anyone with information on why I'm getting a ActionNotSupported error? Is there something wrong I'm doing or have configured in my camera's?

I was able to get it to work by trying the manual setup using RTSP. I left the stream path at just /.

klinker --- I had this exact same problem. Your mention of the error and fix was the only I could find on the web. I stepped through the manual camera add (took like 10 seconds) and it works. Kudos to you, sir, much appreciated!
