I was wondering if anyone has gotten this camera to work. I am using Sight hound version 2.5.1

Hello billkater,

Escam does claim that this model supports ONVIF, in which case you can use the directions in this support article to connect: https://www.sighthound.com/support/onvif-camera-setup

If that does not work, please try selecting "Other IP Camera" from the "Camera Type" drop-list and use the following settings:

Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /live/h264/ch1

If neither of those work please send us a bug report by going to Help > Report a Problem. Be sure to link to this forum post so we know it is you.

I created a bug report with a link to this post. The 2 pictures are of the Escam network config page and the SH camera setup page. As a not. SH did not see the camera in the wizard mode. I had to input all fields manually.

I am able to open the video stream using VLC and this path

rtsp://192.168.1.50:554//user=escam_pas ... ream=1.sdp

Hello billkater,

Thanks for sending the bug report. If "rtsp://192.168.1.50:554//user=escam_password=admin_channel=1_stream=1.sdp" works in VLC, this should also work in Sighthound Video.

Please try using the following:

Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /user=escam_password=admin_channel=1_stream=1.sdp

I finally got it to work. I had to check the "Force TCP Connection" box.
