Mac System Startup Issue

by mlines » Mon Jan 11, 2016 2:47 pm

I'm having a problem with enabling the autostart on my mac - I'm getting a message that attached storage drives are disabling the ability to enable autostart? This is running on a 10.11 VM on ESXi and I need to keep my main drive small as it is on an SSD. The drive it is complaining about is another ESX virtual drive directly attached and is showing (to OSX at least) as a local drive. Is there anyway around this?

I'm having a similar issue. I'm not using VMs, but I am trying to store video on an internal HD, while booting off an SSD. It all works but autostart does not work because it thinks it is an attached storage drive, despite being connected via SATA.

Any chance that check could be a wee bit smarter?
