My Zavio F312A camera was working fine under 2.x but now with 3.01 Sighthound won't connect to it.
- I tried using ONVIF, and while it will talk to the camera to get the settings info, it fails to connect at the final step to display the video stream.
- I tried "UPnP," and again it fails to connect at the final step to display the video stream. (Though, in retrospect, UPnP is just for configuring the router, which isn't applicable because this is all on the same LAN.)
- I checked user name/password (which of course didn't change when upgrading to 3.01)
- I tried completely manual settings (other-->manually specify-->other ip cam-->http://10.0.1.5:80/video.mp4)
- I tried with RTSP on. I tried with RTSP off. I tried via HTTP. Nothing.
- I can connect using MJPEG with RTSP off, but of course I prefer MPEG.
Ideally, of course, using Zavio via ONVIF with RTSP (rtsp://10.0.1.x/video.mp4) would just work.
And, yes, I can connect to the camera just fine via Safari.
Using SecuritySpy, I confirmed it works with ONVIF/RTSP over HTTP. Both RTSP TCP and RTSP UDP would not work but RTSP over HTTP works (under SecuritySpy).
Any ideas?
