Cannot log into Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW IR
I recently purchased a Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW 3MP Indoor IR Wifi Cube Camera. I have set it up to work over wifi and it is functioning over my network. I tried to add it to sighthound, which it recognized. However it gave me an error when I got to user/password entry. I put in my name/password and it came back with the internal error: action not supported. I am wondering what settings I need to adjust to make it work with sighthound.

I also have the DS-2CD2432F-IW but have no issues. Make sure you have the correct RTSP port. Also, if you want to test using VLC try the following:
rtsp://YourUserName:YourPassword@YourIPAddr : YourRTSPPort/video.h264 (no spaces in-between)
i.e., rtsp://howdy:[email protected]:553/video.h264

You beat me to it, I just got one of these cameras and discovered the onvif error as well. We'll be looking into this, but as al2suarez helpfully noted you can still manually configure this camera in the meantime by selecting "rtsp" and a stream path of "/video.h264". I believe I actually just used a stream path of "/" on mine - both may be valid or this may have changed between firmware versions.

Ryan, I have a Hikvision DS2CD2132F-I and am having the same problem. Any idea how close to a fix you are?

Hello Bill,
Have you tried manually adding the camera using the following settings:
Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /
OR
Protocol: rtsp
Port: <leave empty>
Stream Path: /video.h264
If neither of those work please send us a bug report by going to Help > Report a Problem so we can take a look at your logs.
