It would be much more useful to be able to zoom in and out of the timeline, at the bottom of the search page. Currently, it's zoomed out to 24 hours (12 am to 12 am). This makes it near impossible to view individual events, as they all get clumped into a solid bar of blue.
Nest Cam (despite its sparse features) does this exceptionally well. It makes using their timeline a pleasant experience. Please take a look at how they've done it, via JavaScript and HTML5, and consider adopting something similar.
