Since upgrading my Mac Mini to SH 3.0 last night, I've noticed increased processor loading by 10-20%. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, but I had fine-tuned my setup (resolution, frame rates, etc) to have some headroom. However, last night (processor loading is always worse at night due to noisy images), my system was pegging and I was getting exclamation points on all cameras.
Do the new algorithms use more processor?
Is anybody else seeing this?
