Freezes/Crashes on Windows 7; Stops recording on Apple

Hi, I used to use Vitamin D and it worked pretty well.

I purchased Sighthound but am having trouble getting it to work properly.

I first installed it on a Windows 7 computer. After a while it stops recording and when I try to exit it freezes and task manager shows the sighthound processes as not responding if I recall correctly. Lots of problems for Sighthound to connect to the cameras, but if I reboot the laptop it connects to them right away, no problem. Tried a few things but gave up on Windows.

So installed on an Apple Mac OS machine, hoping that might fare better... The software does not seem to crash but it does seem to stop recording movement after a while after I leave the computer.

So right now, the software is not performing as expected, is not useful for security monitoring, and is less reliable than the old Vitamin D software. I will likely dig up my old copy of Vitamin D and install that on my Windows 7 computer at this point...

Ok -- I hadn't configured Mac OS to not go to sleep, so have fixed that, thanks support team!

Will see if that gets me working on Mac OS...
